Hello and welcome,

Here I only keep samples of my art, design, and coding work, with a focus on detail and quality. LinkedIn keeps my work experience. GitHub keeps my code, but not all coding solutions. Tumblr keeps my writing. While I have left social media (eg. Twitter), Flickr and Instagram keep some photos.

For art, pencil is my main medium, but paint is no stranger. Some of these are sold or past Daily Deviations. I plan to return to art, but my busiest was in AP Studio Art.

Design has been in my toolbox since UCLA. I seek simple but practical solutions, with solid rhythm and attention to detail. Sadly through my Processing and web classes, I found the making and coding more gainful.

Coding I learned mostly on the job but also off, thanks to articles, docs, and forums. StackOverflow was just out then.

I learned enough: CSS to mimic VFX and even tutor the spec, JS and client-side to write my own UI library and 2D platformer, PHP and server-side to rewrite my site's framework and to pass RSS feeds through my own Node parser and filters, Obj-C and Swift to write my own libraries and app, RegEx to write plugins and highlighting for my editor.

While at places like Chegg, OpenX, DSC and with those like Jon Badeen, Jim Gilliam, BJ Novak: I found my own set of principles when shaping, growing, and keeping software, one of iteration and brevity.

Enjoy the links and images. Hopefully more later, or just ask.
